Seattle Contract Senior Performance Tester AR 152 PA

Sr. Performance Tester would be dedicated to evaluating our product
performance in a scaled lab to meet the requirements from release to
release.

The Expert Performance Test Engineer will work with a team of
engineers to assess the performance and stability of software by
executing tests against a large scale lab environment. This role is
responsible for standardizing the use of performance methodologies and
practices within the organization. This role will also lead a
collaboration effort to create a performance test harness to automate
testing and create repeatable regression performance tests for new
products. In addition, responsibilities include documenting and
communicating performance test plans and results to other
organizations within the company.

• Responsible for defining and evaluating testability of performance
requirements, drafting performance test plans and creating a test
suite using standard performance methodologies.

• Responsible for scripting performance test business processes via
LoadRunner and JMeter.

• Responsible for setup and execution of performance scenario via
LoadRunner and JMeter.

• Responsible for documentation of performance transaction definitions
from scripts, scenario load matrix profile (spreadsheet) and test
execution results output.

• Responsible for performance test analysis and creation of
presentation templates.

• Responsible for communicating issues to management, client and
support groups as needed regarding finds from testing activities and
support issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Strong performance methodology knowledge a must.

• Strong communication skills regarding technical topics and remote
collaboration skill are a must.

• Experience and understanding of TCP/IP and Web based platforms.

• Experience in technical implementation and support of JMeter and
Mercury LoadRunner.

• Experience in creating performance test plans and web metric
profiles a plus.

• Experience in Development or Configuration Management desirable.

• Knowledge of scripting languages and experience with Java
desirable.

• Demonstrates an understanding of the following software and web
technologies, including Java, UNIX, Linux, Windows, J2EE, SQL, JMS,
Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, MySQL, XML/XSL, and SOAP.

• Demonstrates an ability to provide accurate project estimates and
timelines.

• Demonstrates an ability to deliver on project commitments.
