Title: Associate R&D Scientist

This position is for an Associate R&D scientist who would like to work
on multiple aspects of production associated with Functional Genomics
products. Main job functions would consist of high-throughput
lentivector production, and quality control of lentivector and
lentivirus customer products. The qualified candidate will be willing
to learn a broad spectrum of molecular biology techniques and
production protocols including bacterial library maintenance and
propagation, plasmid DNA isolation, restriction digestion, sequencing,
ELISA assays and operation of laboratory automation and equipment.

Qualified candidates should possess a BS in Biochemistry, Biology,
Chemistry or life science related field with 1-3 years of laboratory
experience. Familiarity with production equipment and processes a
plus. Candidates should have knowledge with basic Microsoft Office
programs and excellent written communication skills. The ability to
precisely write, follow and document procedures is mandatory.
