Scope of work/responsibilities:
We have an immediate opening for a Receptionist (front desk staff) to join
our client's dynamic team. As the ambassador/greeter of clients & visitors,
you will exude personality, customer service and professionalism with each
interaction by phone and in person. Our client's office is centrally
located, in downtown Vancouver, easily accessible by skytrain, bus, bike,
etc., with about 140 staff. The office is upbeat, stylish, and filled with
high energy, creative individuals.
As the successful candidate, you will be tasked with: 1) answering all
incoming calls in a prompt, professional manner; 2) greeting and providing
excellent customer service to all visitors; 3) handling all incoming mail,
courier packages; 4) maintaining an organized, professional, and
approachable reception area; and 5) providing staff support (eg. assisting
with invoicing/billing, coordination/booking activities, etc.) as needed.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required
for this role as is appropriate, business attire. In addition, you will be
familiar with the operation of general office equipment (eg. phone system,
fax, printers, etc.) and the use of MS Office applications.
