J2ME Developer

Cistel Technology has an immediate requirement for a Senior J2ME /
Blackberry Developer. This is a permanent position

Role and Responsibilities:

You will be involved in the following:

* Interest in taking on new technologies and challenges and then the
ability to quickly ramp-up and become productive on these new technologies.
* Participate in determining requirements for new projects and provide
delivery time estimates either during the pre-sales process or the
post-sales requirements gathering and design process.
* Supervise one or more people including the ability to set priorities,
delegate tasks, manage both personal and team deliverables, and provide
instructions, guidance, and feedback in a positive and constructive manner.
* Demonstrate good instincts when suggesting alternative approaches and
options.
* Design various pieces of software and then clearly document it so that
other people can implement it.


Mandatory Qualifications:

* At least 5 years of development experience preferably (but not
mandatory) in a variety of technologies and industries.
Experience developing BlackBerry J2ME applications with the RIM JDE


Desirable Qualifications

* Knowledge of the MDS and Plazmic tools.
