Start up biopharmaceutical company in California need you - if you are an MD and a successful. seasoned CMO with 10+ years in the industry. The Chief Medical Officer will help direct drug candidates through all aspects of the development life cycle up to commercialization.
Duties and responsibilities:
Clinical functions such as organizing clinical trials and scientific research, collecting data.
Dealing with regulatory, safety, quality and the medical information programs.
This individual will work closely with other company executives for the timely and successful approval of the Leadership the company in ensuring that drugs move through proper processes.
Product pricing, health care and private reimbursement.
Ability to get both inside and outside stakeholders on board
Proven leadership experience, with notable strategic and analytical planning abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfort level with investors, financiers, customers, scientific and corporate boards.
Able to multitask.
REQUIREMENTS:
MD (or PhD, PharmD) plus proven senior level experience taking medical products through the drug development life cycle and all functions as listed above.
